Dr. Talton is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science & Masters of Science Degrees.  He studied at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and is a graduate of Emory University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Talton is a member in good standing with the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and Southeastern Dental Society.  He attends numerous courses each year in order to stay current on the latest techniques, procedures, and equipment in the field of dentistry.

Dr. Talton and his wife Judy moved to Vidalia, Georgia in 1970.  They have two daughters, Mary Lynn a Speech-Language Pathologist, and Jennifer is a Registered Dental Hygienist.  A son-in-law Brent who is a dentist in Athens Georgia , and Reed who works for the U.S. Department of the Treasury  in Atlanta.  They also have 4 grandchildren.
